• GPS Location: Real-time coordinates to help riders find your village/house and calculate accurate delivery times.
• Email Address (Optional): If provided, we use it for account recovery, sending welcome emails, and monthly receipts.

• Order History: Record of items bought, amounts paid, and delivery status to handle customer requests and repeat orders.

We use your information strictly to provide a smooth, fast food delivery experience. Specifically, we collect data to:

• Create and manage your Zwet Food delivery account.
• Process, prepare, and deliver your food orders.
• Calculate real-time Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) to your village.
• Send transactional alerts (OTP for signup, order confirmations, status updates).
• Provide customer support when something goes wrong with your order.
• Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of our reward/coin systems.
• Analyze usage trends to improve menu items and UI designs.

Your security is our top priority. We implement technical and administrative safety measures to keep your data secure:

• SSL Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our server functions is encrypted using HTTPS.
• Secure Gateway: Our Vercel Serverless Function serves as a secure proxy, keeping direct database access keys hidden.
• Restricted Access: Only authorized administrators have access to customer directories and order lists.
• Secure Hosting: We use industry-standard cloud architecture (such as Firebase, Google Cloud, and Vercel) which maintains strict security compliance.

Zwet Food supports cashless online payments (UPI, Cards, NetBanking) and Cash on Delivery (COD).

Crucial Security Detail: We do NOT store or process your credit/debit card numbers, UPI PINs, or banking passwords on our servers. All online payment transactions are securely handled by trusted, RBI-licensed payment gateways (like Razorpay, Google Pay, or PhonePe). Your financial details are encrypted and passed directly to these processors.

We work with trusted third-party providers to deliver our core services. These services may process minor parts of your data:

• Google Maps API: Used to render maps, search local villages, and verify accurate drop-off coordinates.
• Firebase / Google Sheets: Used for database storage, real-time PIN validation, and PWA configurations.
• Telegram Bot API: Informs our regional kitchen managers of your order details (Items, Address, Name) instantly.
• Nodemailer / Nodemailer-linked SMTP: Used to dispatch OTPs and welcome newsletters securely.
• Razorpay/UPI Payment Interfaces: To securely process transactions without exposing financial details.

We respect your privacy. Your information is shared only under specific circumstances:

• With Delivery Riders: The assigned delivery partner receives your name, phone number, address, and GPS coordinates to successfully drop off your meal.
• For Legal Requirements: If required by Indian law enforcement, court order, or government authority to prevent fraud or protect safety.
• With Your Consent: If you explicitly agree to share data for marketing collaborations or local sponsor campaigns.

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser. Zwet Food uses basic cookies and local storage tokens to:

• Keep you logged in so you don't have to enter your PIN on every visit.
• Store your cart items temporarily so you don't lose them if the page refreshes.
• Remember your dark/light theme preference.
• Process basic, non-identifiable web insights (via Vercel Speed Insights and Google Analytics) to check application speed and fix loading issues.

We retain your personal details only as long as you maintain an active account with us. If you wish to close your account, we offer a dedicated deletion option in the profile settings.

Soft-Delete Protection: To prevent accidental loss of your accumulated coins, rewards, or history, we use a soft-delete mechanism. When you request deletion, your account is deactivated instantly. We permanently delete or anonymize your data from our database after 30 days, unless a legal requirement demands otherwise.

As a customer, you have complete control over your data. Under Indian IT regulations and basic privacy standards, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a summary of the details we hold about you.
• Correction: Update your profile name, email, or PIN directly from the Profile screen in our application.
• Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from email notifications or push alerts.
• Erasure: Request permanent removal of your account and delivery records.

Zwet Food is designed for general audiences who are capable of ordering food. We do not knowingly collect personal details from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has registered on our app, please contact us immediately so we can remove the account.
